Our Story

The Conscious One began with a pause.

During a major transition in my life, I started making more time for reflection and meditation. I was getting intentional about what I wanted, who I was becoming, and how I wanted to move through the world. I felt a need to connect with something bigger than myself.

In that stillness, the name “The Conscious One” came to me.

To me, being conscious means being intentional about how you show up in the world. It means actively participating in creating your life, making choices with purpose, and noticing when you’re moving on autopilot.

It also means doing the inner work. That might look like therapy, honest reflection, emotional growth, or taking responsibility for patterns you want to change. It means recognizing your limitations without treating them as a life sentence, and giving yourself room to learn, seek support, and grow.

For a long time, The Conscious One was simply my social media handle. But as I became interested in creating clothing, that name became the foundation of something I could share.

I’ve always felt that what we wear communicates something. A message on a shirt can influence how we feel and what we put into the world. Yet I rarely found clothing that spoke to who I was or what I wanted to express.

So I decided to make it myself.

Today, many of my designs begin in dreams, meditation, or moments of reflection. Each carries a reminder: take action, practice gratitude, own your direction, or stay open to possibility when life feels uncertain.

The Conscious One is for people who are growing, questioning, creating, and finding their way. You don’t have to have everything figured out to move with intention. Growth can include setbacks, rest, and beginning again.

My hope is that you find something here that speaks to you. Something that reflects who you are, encourages who you’re becoming, and carries a message you feel good putting into the world.

Motivate. Elevate. Pass it on.
